Car rentals – Dubai

There is nothing more we love than a good road trip, especially when traveling with children and luggage. Road trips make family travel easy, safe, practical and cost effective compared to Taxis. The freedom of exploring a new destination in a car is our favorite way to travel. It’s flexible and makes it easy to discover those remote tourist trail places. The only down side is finding a good reputable car rental company. So here is our experience of using National (Alamo) in Dubai.

At Dubai Airport, even though we arrived in the early hours at 3am, there was a National representative at the airport terminal and we were processed fairly quickly. The car was located across the road from the Airport Terminal in the Car Rentals Car Park. Car was clean and tidy with a half tank of fuel, ready to go.

We used Google maps to get around – worked brilliantly, loads of points of interest and we didn’t get lost once.

Abdul Shakoor (National), met us at 10pm for car collection at DBX, and efficiently checked the car, (no issues) and also kindly pointed us in the right direction for the terminal.

A good experience, good value for money, so if you need a car rental in Dubai, National are good and recommended.
